Personality: Bitter, vindictive and hateful, Dageki has compassion for no one except her puppet, whom she shows affection to like a lover.

Techniques:
Puppet Master - Dageki, like Kankurou, Sasori and Chiyo before her, is a puppet-master ninja, using her puppet for combat almost entirely. She uses fine chakra strings from her finger tips to manipulate the puppet.

Katana - The official name of her puppet. Katana was once a human being. As such, besides all the puppet abilities at its disposal(blades, needles, smoke bombs, poison), it can also perform jutsus and manipulate chakra. The deadliest weapon in Katana's arsenal, however, is a long retractable barrel that pops out from the fold-out face. Lace with gunpowder and iron shrapnel inside, it fires the closest thing to a shotgun blast from its barrel, making it a potential one-hit kill attack if close enough.

Backstory: A missing nin from Sunagakure, Dageki shared the same artistic ideals as Sasori, and upon meeting(pre-Akatsuki), became his pupil in the puppeteering martial art. As Dageki grew stronger and stronger by the week, her lover, Kenichi Kurosawa, had ulterior motives, and started to brainwash Dageki into thinking that she should push Sasori to teach her the secret to creating human puppets. Kenichi did this with the intention of having Dageki surpass and kill Sasori, and use her for wealth and power. Fueled by her blind love for Kenichi, Dageki confronted Sasori on the matter in what resulted in a heated arguement. Bringing Sasori to the final straw, he defected Dageki from his tutelage and, upon learning Kenichi's plot, killed and turned him into a human puppet as a final insult to Dageki. He abandoned her with the puppetized Kenichi, leaving her to spend the rest of her life in torture, content in knowing that if Dageki ever found him again, he could simply kill her and add her to his collection. As a side effect of the trauma of loving her lover, Dageki instead became emotionally attached to the puppet, and she even imagines it able to speak to her. Repressing Sasori into the back of her disturbed head she became a shinobi assassin for hire, outfitting her new puppet with deadly new weapons. She had run into Sand Team 7(Tsurento, Saya and Kame) once before, when their mission was to protect a traveling king from her. Her skills far exceeded the three combined, and she would have soundly killed them were it not for Tsurento transforming into his Bakemono form. The lupine Kiru then easily humiliated and defeated Dageki before turning back into Tsurento, and the team fleeing and successfuly completing their mission. Dageki has had it in for "those insufferable kids" ever since.

Notes

A fun character to come up with, I wanted to do different things with her.

For instance, I did not want a particularly attractive woman. She is plain at best. I also aimed for a more androgynous form, with small breasts and defined muscles. I've been wanting to use a hakama in a design for the longest time, and this seemed like a good opportunity.

I have always been a fan of the puppet jutsu(kankurou, sasori and chiyo are my favorite naruto characters), but never was able to think of a good OC surrounding it until now. Katana in particular I enjoy, especially his 'relationship' with Dageki. Fun note: The forehead protector he wears once belonged to Dageki. It is indeed an oversized headband because she wore it over her chest rather than her head
