MILLER

Miller's Trap has won the Miller deathmatch tournament on entervoid www.entervoid.com and has become THE Miller.

Although there were more defaults/incompletes and more drama than I would have liked.. it's really more of a bittersweet victory :/ honestly if I had known then what I know now I may have avoided it altogether and saved some grief.

PERSONA:

Stoic, cold, logical, methodical, amoral, mathematical, scientific, these are all aspects that Miller exhibits. However, Miller goes out of his way to find people full of passion, creativity, religiousness, ideology, indeed often the very opposite aspects of himself. Be you man or woman, he will go out of his way to become someone you trust and eventually care for. He will do his best to have you experience the best night of your life, in every way imaginable. Then, when the night is through, he will feed on your amazing memories and experience, and disappear from your life, as you wake up with no memory of him.

Miller tries his best to remain altruistic despite his Vektran side, though he is more than willing to make hard, amoral decisions for the greater good.


BIOLOGY:

Miller is a Vektran. Vektrans are psychic vampires who live off of rich conscious thought like dreams, accomplished desires, and any forms of euphoria. They are both present and yet few people can say they know a Vektran personally, because of their nature of erasing their presence from their victims' memories. Although they are capable of practically killing a person by absorbing their mind and personality and leave an empty shell, Vektrans are logical beings who have no intention to kill off their food source, content with simply eating a night of pleasurable memories, so that there are enough people for the Vektran race to feed off. People don't know where they came from, just that they have always been on Earth, alongside humans, elves, dwarves, phinora, furries and other sentient races.


HISTORY:

Years ago, two masters of psychology and the occult, Dr. Wilhelm Blight and Andrew Kent studied a subject they referred to simply as "Miller", who was experiencing a severe disorder of multiple personalities, all fighting for supremacy, until one by one they were consumed by an outside invader, who used the personality's fears against them. Blight and Kent classified this phenomenon as 'Miller's Fear', and soon enough discovered its true motivations: An invasion the likes of which the two had never conceived; if Fear succeeded in taking over Miller's body, it could act as a conduit to bring its dying race through the void and into the bodies of millions of people with vulnerable minds (those in comas, with mental illness and even disability) across the world. What these beings, the Vektrans, saw as survival to escape extinction, Blight saw as an invasion and a direct threat to humanity. He and Kent dove into Miller's mind and combated Fear directly. Kent sacrificed his mind to give Blight a chance to deliver a victory blow against Fear, wiping his memories and trapping him deep within Miller, acting as a beacon to alert Blight if another Vektran would ever be bold enough to attempt the same tactic. He then locked away all his research with Kent and reclassified the phenomenon as Miller's Trap, and as a mere theory, to deter further study from others. For extra security, Blight imprisoned within Miller a dangerous psychic monster known as Judgement, intending to keep Miller's extraneous creation of new personalities in check. But Miller's new personalities overloaded the mind once more, and a new Vektran was able to break in.

This Vektran succeeded where his father failed.

That day, millions of people in Void City and around the world had their memories and personalities purged all at once, each replaced by a Vektran. Their bodies transformed as well, dangerous-looking humanoids with features black as night. the panic that hit the world was brief; the Vektrans pooled their psychic power together and released a powerful psychic wave across the planet, modifying memories, and rewriting history. Now, everyone ‘remembers’ the Vektrans having always lived on earth alongside humans and other species. Only a handful of people in void city were able to retain their original memories. Wilhelm Blight is one of them.

The migration was successful, and the Vektran race had survived extinction. The Vektrans would always remember the name of their hero, who risked everything for those he cherished above all else. He would take on the name 'Miller'.

Miller is now a private detective, hunting down murderers and eliminating them with his own brand of justice.
